We had girls from Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from units in Altrincham North on our float in the Altrincham Festival Parade 2023 which had a huge turnout yesterday despite the threat of rain.    This time last week we were worried about everyone over-heating on the day.  Instead our volunteers got very wet on Friday night decorating the float but then the rain managed to hold off for the parade on Saturday as the girls sang their way through the streets of Altrincham and Timperley.  We had a theme of Under the Sea so we had mermaids, fish, dolphins and some scuba divers nestled among our colourful coral reefs and decorations made by girls from all sections .    The girls told us they had an amazing time and everyone’s hard work paid off when we won the trophy for most colourful float
