We have a great team of volunteers in the Altrincham South Division who are able to deliver a fantastic programme of activities for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers throughout Bowden, Hale and Hale Barnes.

Girls who are between 5 and 7 years old are welcome to join our  Rainbow units who meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Altrincham South area.  With meetings in Bowdon, Dunham, Hale and Hale Barns, you are bound to find a safe place close to home or school for her to look, learn and laugh with a whole bunch of new friends.

For 7 to 10-year-old girls, we have several  Brownie units which meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Altrincham South area.  There are Brownie Packs in Bowdon, Dunham, Hale and Hale Barns, so there should be one that fits in with your girl's love of adventure where she can explore, have fun and make discoveries.

Our  Guide units in the Altrincham South area cater for girls between 10 and 14 years old.  We have lots of activities which take place in Bowdon, Dunham, Hale and Hale Barns on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.  Guides provides an ideal environment for your daughter to get involved with all kinds of pursuits that you wouldn't find in school or at home.

For young women 14 - 18 there are lots of opportunities to become a  Young Leader helping one of our local units or why not join our  Ranger unit in the Altrincham South area which meets on a Tuesday night. Rangers offers a flexible, fun programme and is open to young women from their 14 to 18-year-olds.  The opportunities are immense from international volunteering to improving your CV.

For anyone over 18 (male or female), we would love to welcome you as an Adult Volunteer, you can help in units on a weekly basis or if you can't commit as frequently there are lots of other roles, for example, helping with admin tasks, PR, training or accounts. For people who want to have a connection with Guiding there is a Trefoil Guild that meets in Altrincham South.
