Archery Returns to Ashley

6th Sale Central Guides were one of the first groups to try out archery at Ashley. ‘We are really pleased that Archery is back and available at Ashley. Dickon was great with the girls and they all had a great time. They all came back with tales of what they had achieved and how much fun they had had !! The girls will initially be taught how to stand, load, draw, aim and fire the bows and arrows, at a distance of 10m. The session will include basic training, instruction and guidance along with some fun and games to help improve the archery skills of those taking part.

6th Sale Central Guides were staying over at Ashley at one of their first camps of the year, and invited Dickon to come down and give the girls the opportunity of trying out this fantastic sport. As you can read form the girls themselves, they all greatly enjoyed the session and came away with some basic archery skills and with the knowledge that they had tried and enjoyed it.
