Archery

Archery is available to book here at Ashely Activity Centre, with our on-site archery advisor. Our Archery GB recognised Instructor can provide sessions for all abilities, but are primarily aimed at beginner levels.
All sessions will include basic training on stance, loading, drawing, aiming and release. The session will also include live assessment from the advisor to help improve the individuals' skills as well as group games to aid/improve all round archery skills.
All equipment will be provided, including a range of bows and arrows to suit different abilities of participants. Both left and right-handed bows are available. Arm guards will also be provided and must be worn for the duration of the session.

Ashley Activity Centre is the ideal place to begin learning the basics of archery with our qualified instructor. We have the luxury of being able to offer a beautiful quiet space, and the flexibility to extend our range to as long as 20M. Our standard range is 10m. If an extension to the range is required, it will be at the discretion of the instructor and based on the use of the activity centre at the time.
The number of participants is a maximum of 16, but 12 is recommended to limit waiting time. The minimum age of all participants must be 7. No previous experience is necessary – all training will be provided.

Sessions are an hour long and suited for participants aged 7 and above. No experience necessary. All Equipment will be provided.
A full risk assessment has been carried out on site and will be sent as part of the booking process.
