We have lots of additional information to help you included in the Welcome Packs in the House & Lodge including activity badges to complete during your stay at Ashley. Please speak to your warden on arrival who will be happy to discuss any queries with you.
ASHLEY SHOP - INFORMATION
We stock a selection of Girlguiding products, Ashley goods, pocket money toys and adventure accessories. Along with handcrafted and knitted items made by Trefoil Guild Members to help raise funds for Ashley projects.
If you require anything specific from trading we can order these to be in the shop for you to collect on your arrival.
HOUSE
We have a self serve/self set up shop to be run by leaders for the girls, a key is located in the key safe (our Warden will show you on arrival). Please try to return items to the correct shelves ready for the next visitors.
LODGE
In the lodge the shop is housed in a plastic drawer unit, it is also a self serve/set up shop to be run by leaders. (Our Warden will show you on arrival)
There is less stock held in the Lodge shop – if you would like anything specific including for your arrival, please let me know as soon as possible.
A float of £5 is available in each shop so we suggest that you ask your guests to bring their spends with them in small change if possible. Any cheques are payable to ‘Girlguiding GMW Ashley’. A receipt book is available should you need one.
All profits made from shop sales are used to help add to and improve facilities at Ashley so spending in the shop benefits all who use the site, your support is very much appreciated.
CHALLENGE BADGES ARE AVAILABLE to Pre-order at time of booking / arrival form - and these will be given to your by the Warden on arrival. There are currently four challenges; Activity, Busy Bee, Butterfly and Ladybird.
