Sugar Brook Farm

Our local farm offers pond dipping, lambing in Spring, bird and wildlife spotting, various nature courses as well as fruit picking and pressing in the Autumn. 

Walks from Ashley Camp Site

Resources Packs are available at Ashley for walking routes from the Campsite, ranging from 1.4miles/50 minutes to 4.8miles/2 hours, so something suitable for all sections.

Ideal for including in your weekend programme or as an evening activity. All these walks are in easy/lowland country so you do not need a Girlguiding walking qualification to take girls on them.

As well as Route Cards (walking instructions and maps), the Resource Packs include briefing notes for leaders with safety and equipment advice.

The campsite also offers convenient access to local horse riding stables, Tatton Hall, Knutsford town trail, Styal Mill and Manchester Airport tours amongst others.
