4. Camp fire circle

Suggested Activities
- Collect firewood so that the fire will be well stocked for the night
- Play any game evolving circles, even if its just ring a ring a roses
- Use the benches provided as mini tables to carry out an activity on
- Use the sticks in the wood pile to create a trail or learn about trail signs
- Use sticks to create a craft of some sort(Dry sticks around the outside of a sturdy container and wrapped in ribbon looks great)
5. Story tellers chair

Suggested Activities
- Tell a story where they really have to listen to find out important information to complete the quest
- Get the girls to tell a story or a joke
- Use the area to construct an emergency shelter
- Have a box of random objects behind the chair and get them to make a story using the objects
6. Totem Pole

- Identify all the creatures that are carved on the totem pole
- Use socks in a creative way to make a creature later in a craft time
- Use the equipment in the house to measure the height of the totem pole (Equipment provided to measure the height of trees)
7. Owl

- Make a daisy chain
- Name 5 trees from where you are standing
- Create an owl based craft
- Create a craft themed to your stay away
- Collect materials required for a later activity
8. Chapel

These stones are
found in a chapel

Suggested Activities
- By adding string and wrapping it around the trees, the fence and tent pegs put into the ground then you can easily convert the chapel area into a random laser area from which they have to retrieve objects or an object that is needed as part of the quest
- The chapel area is intended as a reflective area, so it is a great place to just stop and listen
- Make a daisy chain
- Identify all the trees in the chapel area
- Measure all the trees in the chapel area. Equipment to carry out this activity is available

The garage is opposite a large field, so try activities like
- Welly Wangling
- Archery
- Pioneering
- Making Gadgets
- And any game that involves running around
11. Bee Home

Just where will your
next clue be
It's by the home of
a buzzy bee
Please don't put the clue too nearby as several bees have taken up residence in our bee home
Suggested Activities
- Use the nature trail equipment that is available to identify bugs and small creatures
- Wrap bamboo canes with string to create your own bee home
- Find at least 5 objects all beginning with the letter B(5 Brownies does not count)
- Buzz like a bee for one minute
- Create a Bee Craft
- Buzz all the way to the next picture or clue
12. Boat

Suggested Activities
The boat is close to the tap so why not have a go at:-
- Filling a small cup and carrying it to say the chapel which is nearby and seeing how much water they have left. The one with the most water wins
- Pretend that they have to get into the boat, they are only allowed to take three items from the pile provided. What are their choices and why?
- Messy activities where an outside tap would be useful
- Sing row, row, row your boat
13. Lodge

Suggested activities
Trails can be great fun and can be made from a variety of stuff like:-
- CD's - These can be great for use at night when torches can be used to find a message or code
- Sticks and stones - There are lots of ways in which sticks and stones can be used to make trails
- Coloured Ribbon - These can then be collected by another group for use at craft time
- Pens and numbers - Have a drawing that needs to be coloured in then place pens around the trail with a numbered pen. As the girls go around the course they colour in their drawing. Have a few different ways the picture can be coloured so that they don't cheat
