Surprise, Surprise….Ann Healey was presented with a Laurel Award last night by Region Chief Commissioner Julie Walton for services to her unit, district, division, Girlguiding Greater Manchester West, and Girlguiding North West England. Ann was totally surprised as she thought she was delivering training on the leadership qualification programme to a group of people across the county. It’s fair to say she was shocked to find that it was all a ruse and that the evening was to celebrate her award and her commitment to Girlguiding.
