Boothstown Guides took part in the Manchester Cityscape adventure run by GirlGuiding. The adventure was on Saturday 21st March 2026 and was an exciting wide-game event where they visited lots of different places in Manchester like the Chinese arch in Manchester China town.

The wide game used an app called Goosechase, which helped them find exciting activities dotted around Manchester. The activities ranged from trying a quick craft, to getting sporty, to discovering hidden gems in a museum. It was a big scavenger hunt style wide-game spread across the city

There were also some bonus challenges on the app too, such as taking a photo with Paddington the bear.

The Guides enjoyed their great day out in Manchester city centre.
