One of the great things about GirlGuiding is it allows girls to meet interesting people. It certainly was the case with the Rainbows and Guides at Holy Rood in Swinton.

Meeting an artist
Artist Nicola Copson visited a Holy Rood Rainbows meeting. There all the girls did finger painting to create a huge Lowry painting.
Meeting the local MP
Meanwhile Holy Rood Guides had a visit from Michael Wheeler, their local MP.
The girls had the opportunity to ask questions and talk about the issues that were of interest to them.
