2nd Sale Central Rainbows, 4th Sale Central Brownies and 4th Sale Central Guides were out supporting the participants of the Manchester Marathon on the weekend (10th October 2021). 

They took charge of the mile 16 water station along with members of the local ‘Sewa Day’ group, handing out water and keeping the area tidy. It was a lovely day and there was a great sense of community spirit and it was a fantastic opportunity for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Leaders, Trefoil and parents to work together. Brown Owl said, “It was lovely to see the reaction of the runners seeing the girls helping out, and the girls loved being able to cheer everyone on”.
