23 Rangers & Leaders from 2nd Swinton Division Rangers took part in their 3rd "Monopoly Run Live" in London. On the Saturday, they had a brilliant time playing in "Monopoly Run live", seeing the sights of bustling central London. Their team Buzz came first in their game against 5 other teams which included one other team from GirlGuiding, 2 Scout teams, 1 explorer team and an International team. "Monopoly Run Live" celebrated its 20th year this year and is the largest Monopoly themed event for Scouts and Guides, using the real streets of London as the game board! As they spent the weekend at St. Paul’s YHA, on the Sunday they watched Luther being filmed outside St Paul’s cathedral, visited London dungeons, where there was LOTS of screaming, and then went to sky garden to see the views over London, but all they could see was a thick fog! Then three of the rangers made their promises outside the cathedral before they all headed back to Manchester.
